PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To abolish the negative effect caused by welding by connecting a stub cone to a pipe material under a method different from the welding and reduce the number of components. SOLUTION: A contracted diameter part 2A is mounted on the anti-node side of the stub cone 2 for mounting a joining device 3 joining a pipe structure material 4 to a node 8 on a pipe material 1. An external thread 2m engaging with an internal thread 1 m is engraved on the outer periphery of the diameter part 2A. The internal thread 1 m is formed in the internal surface of the end part, except a part of the side of the node 8, of the pipe material 1. A journal hole 2a of about the size enabling a shaft part 5D of a joining bolt 5 to be passed therethrough is drilled in the shaft core part of the stub cone 2. A sleeve nut is made unnecessary because the stub cone 2 can be connected to the pipe material 1 by the threads after an anchor nut 7 has been screwed to the joining bolt 5 penetrating the stab cone 2.
