PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate inclination of a faucet with respect to an installation surface on which the faucet is installed even if the installation surface is under restrictions, to prevent formation of a gap between the faucet and the installation surface especially in a mode in which the faucet is set on the installation surface without a gap, thereby improving the appearance thereof, and to prevent infiltration of hot water from the gap into a cover in the case where the faucet is in the above-mentioned mode and equipped with the cover, thereby eliminating stain residual. SOLUTION: A main first fixing means 62 and an auxiliary second fixing means 70 are installed on the same installation surface 1, to thereby fix the faucet 3. The second fixing means 70 is arranged at a location upper than the location of the first fixing means 62. The first fixing means 70 is formed by inserting a connecting pipe 12 provided for the faucet 3 into an installation hole 7 bored in the installation surface 1, and fixing the connecting pipe 12 to the installation surface 1 by means of a nut 2 from a rear surface of the installation surface 1. The second fixing means 10 is formed by fixing the faucet to the installation surface 1 via an auxiliary plate 72 by means of screws.
