PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separation/contact device for an 1 attaching/detaching surface in a detachable submerged pump wherein an ascending/descending operation of the detachable submerged pump is smoothly carried out along an ascending/descending guide, and a pump delivery port and a water supplying port are correctly and forcibly fitted to each other so as to prevent generation of pressure leakage when the pump is operated. SOLUTION: A front edge and a rear edge disposed on a lower part of the ascending/ descending guide 2 are slantly formed, and is fixed in a tank in a condition which is gradually approximated in the opening direction of a side opening type water supplying port disposed in the tank at all times, a front edge engaging element 8a which is brought into sliding contact with the front edge of the ascending/descending guide 2 and a rear edge engaging element 8b which is brought into sliding contact with the rear edge of the ascending/descending guide 2 are protruded toward the outside of the detachable submerged pump 3, the front edge engaging element 8a is induced forward along an inclining front edge 2a when the detachable submerged pump 3 is descended, the weight of the detachable submerged pump 3 is acted as thrust, the side opening type pump delivery port 6 and the water supplying port 5 are fitted to each other. When the detachable submerged pump 3 is ascended, the rear edge engaging.
