摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a belt for power transmission with excellent heat resistance, improved belt traveling service life, and optimum for the high-load transmission. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method of the belt for power transmission comprises a step of patterning a rubber member forming a compressed rubber layer and manufacturing a cog pad having a cog ridge portion 9 and a cog valley portion 8 in an alternate manner, a step of manufacturing a cog pad 21A having a reinforcing cloth with the reinforcing cloth 4 adhered to the surface of the cog ridge portion 9 and the cog valley portion 8 of the cog pad 21 so that the reinforcing cloth is not extended, a step of winding the cog pad 21A having the reinforcing cloth with both end cog ridge portions 9 cut around a grooved mold to allow the cut surface of both end cog ridge portions the abut thereon, and a step of successively winding a material forming a core wire and an expandable rubber layer to manufacture a formed body, vulcanizing the rubber layer, and cutting the obtained vulcanized sleeve in a V-shape to manufacture the belt for power transmission.
