摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of the conventional magnetic guide apparatus adapted to guide a moving body in non-contact by using a magnet unit formed by a combination of a permanent magnet and an electromagnet and controlling the attractive force of the electromagnet that in the case where guide control is not conducted due to some cause such as a failure of a power amplifier for feeding an electric current to the electromagnet, for example, the permanent magnet constituting the magnet unit is secured to a guide rail made of ferromagnetic substance to cause a problem in elevating of an elevator car and also damage the guide rail and the guide unit. SOLUTION: In this elevator magnetic guide apparatus a magnetic path short circuit member 101 made of ferromagnetic substance and a driving part for making the magnetic path short-circuit member approach and separate from the magnet unit are provided in the vicinity of the magnet unit 30. The apparatus is provided with a magnetic field reducing means capable of reducing a magnetic field between the magnet unit 30 and the guide rail 14 due to the magnetomotive force of the permanent magnets 34 and 34', and an auxiliary guide means for supporting the moving body 16 to be elevated on the guide rail 14 when a trouble is caused in the magnetic guide control.
