PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas sensor allowing easy signal baseline value temperature correction even when a temperature/wind receiving condition of an atmospheric environment is changed in a gas sensor unit suitable for a filed such as usage as a monitor requiring simplification and reduction in the size. SOLUTION: In this gas sensor provided with a sensor cover part (a) made of a porous material having an airtight property, a gas sensing part, a heating means heating the gas sensing part, and a temperature detecting means, a solid material including hollow glass or a foamed resin is used as the porous material, and the sensor cover part (a) is provided with a thickness of 0.8-3 mm and porosity of 30-70%. |
