PN CODE CORRELATER AND METHOD FOR OBTAINING SYNCHRONIZATION OF RECEIVING SIGNAL USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A PN code correlater and a method for obtaining a synchronization of a receiving signal using the same is provided to decrease a synchronous acquirement time as to the receiving signal by quickly judging when a synchronization is obtained without the requirement of a set accumulation time. CONSTITUTION: A PN(Pseudo Noise) code generator(305) generates a PN code. A code mixer(300) multiplies the PN code generated in the PN code generator(305) by a receiving signal. An N bit accumulator(301) accumulates an output of the code mixer(300) on the basis of a plurality of set part accumulation times. A comparator(302) compares an output of the N bit accumulator(301) with a previously set correlation threshold value, judges whether a synchronization of the receiving signal is obtained, and generates a lock signal when the synchronization of the receiving signal is obtained. A code deviation control signal generator(304) generates a code deviation control signal according to the set part accumulation time for deviating the PN code generated in the PN code generator(305). A determining unit(303) provides the code deviation control signal generated in the code deviation control signal generator(304) to the PN code generator(305) according to an accumulation value accumulated during the part accumulation time in the N bit accumulator(301). A PN clock generator(306) provides a basic PN clock to the PN code generator(305) and the code deviation control signal generator(304).
