PURPOSE: An exhaust gas sensing apparatus for an automobile is provided to improve sensing performance by smoothly dispersing gas and minimizing the effects of flow velocity due to dampers. CONSTITUTION: An exhaust gas sensing apparatus(1) for an automobile includes a cabinet(10) having an open front; a main board(20) embedded in the cabinet and installing a sensor(21) protruded to the front at one side part; a cabinet cap(30) coupled with the front of the main board to cover the cabinet, and having a sensor hole(33) formed to be communicated forward and backward and coupled with the sensor, a plurality of dampers(35) protruded to the front for relaxing the air flow at the circumference of the sensor, and a passage part(31) having a plurality of discharge holes(37); a sensor film(34) covered at the front surface of the sensor hole; and a sensor cap(40) covered at the front of the passage part for forming a passage with a predetermined space, and having inflow holes(41) for communicating the passage to the front.
