INSPECTION APPARATUS FOR CONTINUITY OF CONNECTOR HOUSING TERMINAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inspect the continuity of a connector housing terminal from continuity inspection grooves which are formed on the sidewall of a connector housing in a direction at right angles to a terminal insertion direction. SOLUTION: A connector C at which the continuity inspection grooves Cd are formed on the sidewall of the connector housing in the direction at right angles to the terminal insertion direction is held by a connector holder 12. A lever 14 is operated. A probe holder 13 is advanced. The connector C is fitted to a connector fitting recessed part 13b. Housing holes 13d of the same pitch as the continuity inspection grooves Cd are provided in the inner sidewall 13c of the connector-fitting recessed part 13b to house a probe 17 which is composed of springs 19 and contacts 18. The contacts 18 are inserted into the continuity inspection grooves Cd, and the continuity of the connector housing terminal is inspected.
