PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilation device capable of securely preventing invasion of rainwater into an attic. SOLUTION: This ventilation device 10 comprises a device main body 20 installed on an opening 3a in transverse wall 3, and a decoration plate 30 detachably installed on the device main body 20 to cover the outdoor side of the device main body 20. Inside the device main body 20, an upper passage part 20a to be connected to an attic 4 is formed. The decoration plate 30 has an extended part extended downward from the device main body 20, and between the extended part and transverse wall 3, a lower passage part 10b to connect the upper passage part 20a to the outdoor side is formed.
