RADIATION-CURING TYPE RESIN COMPOSITION AND COATING AGENT FOR OPTICAL FIBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation-curing type resin composition capable of providing cured film excellent in blocking resistance and having good sliding property and a coating material for optical fiber. SOLUTION: This radiation-curing type resin is characterized by compounding 100 pts.wt. resin composition comprising (A) 100 pts.wt. (meth)acrylate oligomer, (B) 10-200 pts.wt. reactive diluent having polymerizable double bond and (C) 0-10 pts.wt. photopolymerization initiator with (D) 0.1-30 pts.wt. acrylic resin particles having the surface composed of an acrylic crosslinked layer and having 0.01-5μm average particle diameter. The radiation curing type resin composition provides cured film excellent in blocking resistance and sliding property and can suitably be used not only as a tape-forming material for optical fibers, but also as coating material for air-blown fibers.
