PURPOSE: To aim at compactness and thinness and enhance operability by preventing adhesion of trash and dust, maintaining movement of cam mechanism and a slider in good condition. CONSTITUTION: A connector body B includes a housing 2 having a card insertion slit 21 and a metal shell 3 covering the housing. An ejection device IJ includes a slider 5 pressed in harmony with the card insertion, a spring 6 energizing the slider to set back to the reversing position of the card and a cam mechanism 7 controlling a sliding movement of the slider. The cam mechanism is provide at side face of the slider which includes a first guide groove 51 for determining forwarding position of the slider, a second guide groove 52 for determining reversing position of the slider and a pin member for determining a sliding position of the slider. The slider is contained in a recessed part 25 provided along the side of the housing and is covered with the metal shell.
