DEVICE FOR INSPECTING ROTARY BODY OF CENTRIFUGAL CLARIFIER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To confirm healthiness by accurately and easily inspecting a crack generated in the rotary body of a centrifugal clarifier for a short time. SOLUTION: A shielding container 11 is arranged on the upper surface of a shielding floor 4 through a door valve device 12 and the rotary body 1 is suspended from the undersurface of the shielding floor 4 and an inspection rod 6 is inserted in the rotary body 1 through the shielding container 11 and an ultrasonic probe 7 is attached to the lower end of the inspection rod 6 so as to be freely projected. A hoisting mechanism 9 for moving the inspection rod 6 up and down to set the same to arbitrary height and a position detection mechanism 10 are provided on the shielding container 11. The ultrasonic probe 7 holds a transmission part and a reception part at a constant interval along the surface crossing a rotary shaft 3 at a right angle and a pantagraph type arm 16 is attached to the inspection rod 6.
