PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current sensor which uses a magnetic impedance element (MI element) and a low-cost and subminiatured. SOLUTION: The MI element 1 is installed on a conductive substrate 8 for a current to be sensed. A DC bias coil 2 for magnetic-flux cancellation and negative-feedback bias coil 3 are wound on the MI element 1. Both ends of the MI element 1 are connected to the bias coil 3 through sensing circuit 4. The terminating end of the bias coil 3 is connected to one end of an element 5 for output sensing. Its output is sensed across both ends of the element 5 for output sensing. Alternatively, the MI element 1 is installed on the conductive substrate 8 for the current to be sensed. Both ends of the MI element 1 are connected to the bias coil 3, wound on the MI element 1, through an initial offset circuit 7. The terminating end of the bias coil 3 is connected to one end of the element 5 for output sensing. Its output is sensed across both ends of the element 5 for output sensing.
|
