An alloy, which is deformable and also solderable or weldable, consists of deoxidised copper containing 0.05-2% Cd. The deoxidation may be effected at least in part by the cadmium or by the addition of 0.005-0.015% P and/or 0.01-0.02% Li. The alloy is used in the construction of radiators (see Division F4).
