GRAFT COPOLYMER AND THERMOPLASTIC RESIN COMPOSITION COMPRISING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermoplastic resin composition excellent in pigment colorability and impact resistance, especially the impact resistance under low- temperature environments. SOLUTION: This thermoplastic resin composition uses a graft polymer (A) which is prepared by grafting at least one kind of monomer (c) selected from an aromatic alkenyl compound monomer, an acrylic or a methacrylic ester monomer and a vinyl cyanide-based compound monomer onto a composite rubber-like polymer [(a)+(b)] comprising a polyorganosiloxane (a) having <=100 nm weight-average molecular weight and compounded with a rubber-like polymer (b) having at least a diene-based monomer (b-1) as a constituent component and having 30-300 nm weight-average particle diameter. The thermoplastic resin composition comprising the graft polymer (A) compounded therein is capable of exhibiting high impact characteristics in a wide temperature region.
