PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic cleansing agent capable of securing safety even in the case where washing solution including foams comes into the mouth or eyes during washing, or an infant, an elderly person or the like drinks the cleansing agent by mistake or the like. SOLUTION: The cosmetic cleansing agent is composed only of a food additive having such a low oral toxicity (LD50) that it can not measured, securing high oral safety and having the admission of using in foods by the food sanitation law, or composed of the food additive together with water.
