PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the productivity of the frame of a low-floor bus and to make it small-sized and lightweight without impairing the strength characteristic. SOLUTION: The rear end of an intermediate frame 3 connected to a front support part 1 supporting front wheels is arranged at a position lower than the front end of a rear support part 2 supporting rear wheels, and they are connected together in the frame of the low-floor bus. The upper end of a flat plate-like cross member 6 covering the front end face of the side rail 2a of the rear support part 2 is bent backward along the upper face of the front end part of the side rail 2a, and they are connected together by bolts. The front part of a gusset 7 connected by bolts to the lower face of the front end part of the side rail 2a and the lower end of the cross member 6 are superimposed on the upper face of the rear end part of the center rail 3b of the intermediate frame 3 and fixed by bolts 8 to the center rail 3b, thereby a connection part is made small-sized and lightweight without impairing the strength characteristic.
