PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate the timing for replacing a part with high accuracy. SOLUTION: In an absorption refrigerating machine comprising a high temperature regenerator 1, a low temperature regenerator 2, a condenser 3, an evaporator 4, and an absorber 5 coupled to constitute a refrigeration cycle, a controller 50 is arranged to determine the filling time of corrosion proof agent added to absorption liquid by detecting the temperature T of absorption liquid in the high temperature regenerator 1 through a temperature sensor 32 every predetermined time, e.g. 1 sec, multiplying 1 see by a coefficient K1 corresponding to that temperature T and summing the values thus obtained, and then calculating the difference from a preset filling time of corrosion proof agent and displaying the time to be elapsed before reaching the filling time on a display (not shown).
