APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR EVALUATING PERFORMANCE OF HEAT EXCHANGER

PURPOSE: An apparatus for evaluating performance of a heat exchanger and a method thereof are provided to promptly and accurately evaluate performance of the heat exchanger in a simple method. CONSTITUTION: A method for evaluating performance of a heat exchanger(21) includes the steps of supplying water having fixed flow rate to the heat exchanger by using a humidifier, throwing a light on the heat exchanger from a light source(22) when condensed water is formed at the heat exchanger, sensing the amount and an image of the light passing the heat exchanger by using a CCD camera(23) for storing the amount and the image of the light at an image board(24), and transmitting the stored amount and the image of the light to a computer(25) for calculating the transmissivity and transmitting area of the light.
