PURPOSE: A cylinder structure of a gear box for a power steering of a vehicle is provided to improve steering force of a steering wheel according to the running condition by weighting steering force reaction at the center position of the steering wheel and lightening steering force reaction at other positions. CONSTITUTION: In a cylinder structure of a gear box for a power steering of a vehicle including a gear box having a cylinder(1) receiving a rack bar(2) extended from an input shaft mounted at the lower end of a steering shaft connected with a steering wheel and a servo generating oil pressure for being engaged with a pinion and connected movably right and left, a cylinder structure of the gear box for the power steering of the vehicle includes a section change part(1') formed at the inner diameter of the cylinder, and an airtight member(3) mounted at the rack bar to be moved contacting with the section change part.
