PURPOSE: An image signal descrambler for automatically controlling offset is provided to automatically control an offset of the decoding device and to improve quality of an image. CONSTITUTION: An image signal descrambler comprises a sample detecting unit(70a) sampling an offset of an image signal; a scanning line coefficient unit(70b) calculating an order of a scanning line; a converse filter unit(70c) filtering the image signal to remove noise; an A/D converter unit(70d) changing output of the filter unit from analog into a digital by being controlled through the sample detecting unit; a storing unit(70e) memorizing output of the converter unit; a comparing unit(70f) comparing output of the storing unit; a deciding unit(70g) determining size of the image signal; a modulation unit(70h) outputting a signal modulating a pulse width by the deciding unit; an offset establishing unit(40); a decoding unit(60) decoding the image signal; and an offset control unit(50) outputting the image signal by controlling the offset.
