PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building method of a retaining wall slope face rich in natural elegance by making the most of a circular arc of a curve surface and a recess/projection pattern on a curve slope face of a radius of about 2 or 5 m by using almost trapezoidal and circular arc-shaped blocks having a surface formed in the recess/projection pattern in a turbulent stone bond style, body filling hip cover panels for supporting these blocks and separators for connecting and supporting these. SOLUTION: In this building method of a gentle retaining wall block, almost trapezoidal and circular arc-shaped blocks having a surface formed in the recess/ projection pattern in a turbulent stone bond style are made by the required number, the body filling hip cover panels 7 and the separators 4 are also made by the required number, the blocks and the panels are supported and connected by the separators according to the retaining wall slope face with respective stages at an execution work site, and while placing body filling concrete between these, the prescribed stage number is heaped up, and the respective blocks are dislocated in the horizontal direction so that the joining ends of the respective blocks set with respective stages do not coincide with the vertical direction to make the most of a circular arc surface.
