PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superior product without causing molding failure even in casting a valve casing in a stop valve used for a faucet or a stop cock. SOLUTION: The valve casing 2 is provided with a valve casing body 3 having a cylindrical inlet channel part 31, an outlet channel part 32, and a valve element insertion port part 33, a cylindrical fit-in part 41 tightly fitted in the inlet channel part 31, and a partition part 42 provided continuously to the tip part of the fit-in part 41 so as to partition the outlet channel part 32 inside from the fit-in part 41 and having a wall part 421 opposed to a valve element 5 inserted into the valve casing body 3 from the valve element insertion part 33. It is also provided with a hollow body 4 for forming a valve seat formed with a through hole 43 with its hole circumferential outer face set to the valve seat 6 in the wall part 421.
