PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrying belt drive which can reliably move a carrying belt. SOLUTION: An endless drive belt 26 is stretched between a drive pulley 24 and driven pulleys 25a and 25b, same projections/recesses 24a, 251a, 251b and 26a, 26b are formed at a predetermined pitch on outer circumferential surfaces of the drive pulley 24 and the driven pulleys 25a and 25b and both face and back sides of the drive belt 26, the projections/recesses 24a and 251a, 251b of the drive pulley 24 and the driven pulleys 25a and 25b are engaged with the projections/recesses 26a of the back side of the drive belt 26, and the projection/recess 26b on the face side of the drive belt 26 is engaged with the projections/recesses 14a and 32a at the predetermined pitch provided on the back side of the carrying belts 14 and 32.
