PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner for an internal combustion engine capable of suppressing pressure loss of air. SOLUTION: In the air cleaner 1 for an internal combustion engine provided with an element 30 for filtering air within a housing 10 and a fuel vapor adsorption member 20 for adsorbing fuel vapor, the fuel vapor adsorption member 20 is mounted so as to receive pressure of air flowing within the housing 10 and to move from an adsorption position of fuel vapor to a position along air flow. Therefore, the fuel vapor adsorption member 20 hardly becomes air resistance and pressure loss of air can be suppressed.
