PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outlet for city water which can be positively and easily installed at a predetermined location of a wall or the like. SOLUTION: The outlet D for city water is constituted of a housing 4, a faucet main body 7 being housed in the housing 4 and having an inflow port 5, an outflow port 6, and a valve body 8, a flow rate regulating handle 9 for regulating the flow rate of water feedable from the outflow port 6 of the faucet main body 7, a transfer mechanism 10 for transferring rotational operation of the flow rate regulating handle 9 to the valve body 8, and a joint section 11 being fixed to the outflow port 6 of the faucet main body 7 and including a joint member H' which is detachably attached to an upstream end of a water supply hose H. According to the thus constituted waterworks outlet D, connection between the inflow port 5 of the faucet main body 7 and a supply pipe S arranged at an upstream side of the inflow port 5, for supplying water to the inflow port 5, is achieved by using a flexible pipe 27.
