发明名称 Apparatus for stacking elongated workpieces
摘要 1,028,103. Stacking machines; endless conveyers. A. BELLING, [trading as MASCHINENFABRIK STAHLKONTOR WESERLENZE KOMM. GES.]. April 27, 1964 [April 27, 1963], No. 17416/64. Headings B8A and B8C. A machine for stacking bars, wooden planks &c. on a support comprises a conveyer device for picking up articles, raising them vertically and then lowering them towards the support, vertically movable carriages adjacent the support and carrying guides reciprocable across the support, thrust arms for pushing the articles along the guides, while the latter lie above the support, to form a layer and means for withdrawing the guides to deposit the layer on the support or a preceding layer. The machine is adjustable for various lengths of bars &c. and numbers per layer. Bars are fed at intervals on two spaced conveyers 1 to platforms 3, and operate the start switch 9 for spaced conveyer chains 7, 7<SP>1</SP> which advance until a stop switch 9a is closed by a following conveyer dog 6. The bars are raised on the left side of the dogs and are deposited on a platform 10 between the conveyers, as the dogs begin downward motion. An abutment 6a on the following dog pushes the bar on to the right side of the dog. The lowered bar operates a switch 19 so that thrust arms 23, mounted on carriages 15, movable in a fixed frame, push the bar along guides 13, and transmits a pulse to counting means 20. When a pre-determined number of bars for a layer has arrived a stop 25 is raised behind the bars and switch 26 operated to withdraw the guides and strip the bars on to the stack. A solenoid 28, Fig. 3 (not shown), is energized to press a securing roller 30 on an arm 29 against the stack. A switch 40 operated when the guides are withdrawn lowers stop 25 and initiates upward movement of the carriages until the roller is urged above the top of the last laid layer of the stack, Fig. 4 (not shown). The arm 29 is then free to be urged forward by the solenoid and a switch 41, Figs. 3, 4, is closed to stop the carriage, and extend the guides above the stack. A switch 42 operated by the guides now initiates downward displacement of the carriages until the guides are immediately above the stacks when a switch 43 is operated to stop the carriages. When the final layer of the stack has been laid the carriages operate a switch 44 (Fig. 1) which stops the machine, and emits a visible or audible signal. The guides may insert spacing bars 13a in the stack at intervals. Several elements may be conveyed and stacked together; and the conveyers are displaceable one from the other to handle different bar lengths.
