<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a platform device for a railroad station with a bridge plate to be property displaced between a platform and a vehicle by using a link mechanism for supporting an upward load in linear attitude. SOLUTION: Normally, the bridge plate 16 is arranged at a set-back position, and it is displaced to a move-up position when required. A gap between the platform 6 and an access 3 for a vehicle 1 is reduced by the bridge plate 16 to facilitate the getting-on-and-off of passengers. As the link mechanism 14 is deformed into linear attitude in supporting the bridge plate 16 at a move-up position, the bridge plate 16 is held at a move-up position if a driving machine 13 is malfunctioned. Therefore, non influence is give to the passengers when getting on and off. As a bridge plate device 10 is mounted via a supporting frame 11 erected from a road floor 5, a load on the bridge plate device 10 is not applied to the platform 6 to facilitate additional construction for an existing platform.</p> |
