PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with an optical axis regulating step when manufacturing an interferometer and an input/output optical system. SOLUTION: A reference bottom surface CBS of a connecting housing C is parallel to an input ray axis r1 and an output ray axis r2, disposed on an extension line of a bottom surface of a prism interferometer 10, and arranged in contact with a reference surface RP. A connecting surface CFS of the housing C becomes perpendicular to a ray input surface SI of the interferometer 10 and inputs a parallel input ray r1 perpendicularly to the surface SI the interferometer 10. A peripheral side face of a deflection reflecting prism DMP has a flat side face SD1 connected oppositely to a ray emitting surface of a prism column P2 to pass emitting parallel rays 5r, a flat side face SD2 formed on an optical path of the parallel rays r5 from the ray emitting surface and the side face SD1 and parallel to a beam splitter surface for deflecting and reflecting the rays r5, and a flat side face SD3 formed on an optical path of rays r6 deflected and reflected on the side face SD2 and installed oppositely at the connecting surface CFS of the housing C.
