PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a post-fitting type joint filler for an outer wall panel which will not be changed by fluctuation of a joint width, and which is capable of securely achieving sealability without being removed, and an installation method for that. SOLUTION: Head part seal pieces 12 are protruded from outdoor side end parts of a drum part 11 on both sides, arm part seal pieces 13 are protruded from roughly middle parts of the drum part 11 on both sides, fork part leg part seal pieces 14 are protruded from indoor side end parts of the drums parts 11 on both sides, foot part seal pieces 15 are provided to stand from tip parts of the leg part seal pieces 14 toward the outdoor side, the head part seal pieces 12 and the arm part seal pieces 13 are put to elastically get in contact with side end surfaces of an outer member 21 of an outer wall panel 20, the leg part seal pieces 14 are put to elastically get in contact with an inner surface of an indoor side wall 22b of a grooved crosspiece 22.
