PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic control device of an internal combustion engine capable of accurately controlling the ignition timing even when an angle error is caused in output of a crank angle detecting means by an angular velocity fluctuation of a camshaft. SOLUTION: This electronic control device is provided with a V-shaped multicylinder internal combustion engine 1 having left and right bank rows 1a and 1b, a crank angle detecting means 12 being arranged on the camshaft of one bank row 1a and outputting a turning angle signal, a cylinder discriminating means 14 for generating a discriminating signal of an igniting cylinder of the internal combustion engine, a suction air quantity measuring means 4 for measuring a suction air quantity of the internal combustion engine and an ECU 18 for arithmetically operating a rotating speed and the ignition timing by inputting the section air quantity, the turning angle signal and the cylinder discriminating signal. The ECU 18 anticipatively arithmetically operates a signal period of the next time from a changing state of a signal period of the same bank row by inputting the turning angle signal from the crank angle detecting means 12, and sets the ignition timing of the next time on the basis of this anticipation result.
