BULLET-PROOF INNER LINING PARTS FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE

The invention relates to an inner lining part (4) adapted for assembly in a motor vehicle, especially a light armored element. Said inner lining part (4) substantially consists of a fiber reinforced body (9) which is provided with a steel sheet element (11) at least in some sections of the margins. The aim of the invention is to provide such inner lining parts that are universally applicable in various sections of the interior space of the motor vehicle. To this end, the invention provides a specific structure of the steel sheet element (11). According to the invention, the steel sheet element (11) has a flanged section (12) provided for installation on a body part (3) and at least one holding section (13) which is adapted to be fastened to the fiber reinforced body (9). These sections are connected to each other via a connecting section (14). The inventive design allows the use of series fabrication volumes from mass production for producing armored vehicles to a much greater extent while maintaining the same bullet-proof properties.
