PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diesel-electric type industrial vehicle in which the rotating speed of an engine can be prevented from changing according to the rise in temperature of the cooling water of the engine against an operator's intention (operation). SOLUTION: This vehicle comprises an electric fan motor 9 for blowing air to a radiator for cooling the cooling water of the engine and a circulating pump motor 10 for supplying cooling water to a traveling motor 9, to which electricity is fed from a generator 2 connected to the engine, and an output voltage adjusting means (AVR) 5 for adjusting the output voltage of the generator 2. In the idling of the engine, the AVR 5 is driven to raise the output voltage to the working voltage of the motors 9 and 10. According to this structure, the generator 2 is started up in the idling, and the output voltage of the generator 2 is raised to the working voltage of the motors 9 and 10, whereby the temperature rise of the cooling water of the engine 2 is prevented in the idling. |
