PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal device in which color characteristics and light shielding characteristics of a colored layer are enhanced, and to provide its manufacturing method and an electronic equipment. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal device 50 has a plurality of pixels and disposes the pixels to face oppositely a counter substrate 38 to a color filter substrate 8 through liquid crystal 40. The color filter substrate 8 is provided with a reflecting film 4 on the surface of a substrate 2, and each colored layer 10, 12, 14 of blue, green and rod is formed on the surface of the reflecting film 4 in the shape of matrix corresponding to each pixel. A light shielding layer 6 is formed among each colored layer 10, 12, 14, and a colored layer 80 for color characterization and a light shielding layer 90 for optical density measurement are disposed on the outer side G of an effective pixel area F in the color filter substrate 8. The reflecting film 4 is not formed between the colored layer 80 for color characterization and the substrate 2, nor between the light shielding layer 90 for optical density measurement and the substrate 2. |
