PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation technology for displaying many kinds of information in an easy-to-see manner. SOLUTION: A congestion mark setting part 46 sets congestion mark data in a parallel position at a prescribed distance from each corresponding link on the basis of congestion information taken out by a congestion information processing part 45. A congestion mark eliminating part 47 suppresses the display of congestion marks within a predetermined range from a reference position, that is, eliminates the data of the congestion marks within a prescribed distance from the reference position. A plotting part 48 plots a map around the reference position including a road, with the present position computed by a present position computing part 40 or a spot assigned by a scroll part 41, as the reference position, and plots congestion marks, that is a congestion line, in predetermined color, parallel with the corresponding road on the map, on the basis of the data of the remaining congestion marks. |
