PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the roof of a carport having a good appearance which is capable of definitely supporting a weight of the roof, a snow load and upwash load by wind pressure. SOLUTION: A girder beam 2 attached to the column 1, a plurality of beams 4 attached to the girder beam 2 at certain intervals in a longitudinal direction, furring 5 coupled between adjacent beams 4, a roof board 6 supported by installing the edge portions at both the ends supported by the furring 5 to a lateral recessed, portion 54 of the beam 4, and the beam 4 stated above is the roof of the carport having the shape as one united body with a stiffening rib 51 at the top surface of the main body 50. In this way, the number of beams 4 is increased and the beam 4 is small but has a high strength so that each load can be definitely supported while giving a good appearance.
