PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound having the action of depressing fibrinogenesis for mammals, preferably the action of depressing the sthenic condition of fibrinogenesis, and to provide a cardiovascular event depressant comprising the above compound, preferably the cardiovascular event depressant for long- term continuous administration. SOLUTION: A fibrinogenesis depressant for mammals comprises trapidil as an active ingredient.
