PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain both a sizing agent for glass fibers, not having problems of break of glass single filament and fuzzing, improving heat sealability and dusting by decreasing an amount of an organic substance stuck to glass fibers, effective for improving weavability, and a glass fiber strand stuck with the sizing agent for glass fibers. SOLUTION: This sizing agent for glass fibers comprises a starch as a main film-forming agent and a polyvinylpyrrolidone.
