PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating device for a vehicle capable of providing sufficient heating performance even in the vehicle having a high efficiency engine. SOLUTION: This heating device comprises a first chamber 123 that is formed in an inlet-side tank 121 of a radiator 12 of a cooling system 10 and communicates to an outlet-side tank 128 of the radiator, a second chamber 124 that is formed partitioned from the first chamber in the inlet-side tank of the radiator and communicates to a heater core 331, a flow passage selector valve 126 for switching a flow passage of a cooling medium flowing down from an engine to the inlet-side tank of the radiator into the first chamber or the second chamber, and a heater 21 provided in the second chamber for heating the cooling medium in the second chamber.
