PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve both floor rigidity and a collision energy absorbing characteristic at a vehicle side collision. SOLUTION: When the side sill part 1D of a floor member 1 is buckle- deformed in the vehicle width direction by the side input due to the vehicle side collision, a lateral deformation allowing part 1C having the strength rigidity smaller than it is smoothly buckle-deformed in the vehicle width direction to absorb collision energy and reduce impact force. The buckling deformation of an occupant plane part 1B is suppressed, a cabin space can be secured, and the shock energy absorption quantity can be increased with the rigidity of the floor member 1 made of an extruded material utilized.
