PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter unit for gas turbine intake of a long life with the same size, even when used under an environment where relatively small particulates having 1μm or less of particle size exists very numerously. SOLUTION: In this filter unit constituted of three stages comprising a filter for rain water separation, a filter of high performance, and a filter interposed therebetween, a filter of middle performance having 2-12 m2/filter of filtration area is used as the filter provided in the stage prior to the filter of high performance.
