The light has a flat housing with side walls (5) and a rear wall (9), a reflector (17), at least one lateral light emitting diode (44) whose light is at least partly incident on the reflector and a transparent image bearer (38) at a distance from the reflector so as to be illuminated from the rear. The reflector can form least part of the rear wall.
