SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR INFORMING INQUIRY NUMBER USING MOBILE COMMUNICATION NETWORK

PURPOSE: A system and a method for informing an inquiry number using a mobile communication network is provided to offer the convenience in use by transmitting information to an object for receiving a service to a subscriber as a character message, and storing information or pushing a send button to perform telephone conversation. CONSTITUTION: A switch(300) outputs an inquiry number request signal provided from a mobile communication terminal through a BTS(Base Transceiver Subsystem)(100) and a BSC(Base Station Controller)(200) and provides a signal to the mobile communication terminal through the BTS(100) and the BSC(200) according to a response signal of the inquiry number request signal. A DB unit(400) has a DB(410) for storing wire communication telephone number information, a DB(420) for storing mobile communication telephone number information, a DB(430) for storing PC communication receiving information, and a DB(440) for storing lifetime number information. An inquiry number guiding unit(500) retrieves the DB unit(400) when an inquiry number request is inputted through the switch(300), extracts response information to the inquiry number, provides a voice guide message to the switch(300) to response information, and outputs a character guiding message to response information. A VAS(Value Added Service platform)(600) performs a protocol conversion of the character guiding message provided from the inquiry number guiding unit(500). An SMSC(Short Message Service Center)(700) changes the character guiding message outputted from the VAS(600) according to a communication standard and outputs the changed character guiding message to the switch(300).
