<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof structure capable of increasing the variation of the appearance of a building. SOLUTION: An inclined roof part 40 is provided in an inner side part of a horizontal roof part 30 in such a way that a parallel line H which is parallel with the direction of inclination of a roof face 44 of the inclined roof part 40 and passes a peripheral fringe part of the horizontal roof part 30 passes an upper part more than a lowermost end in an installation region B of a fascia board 8 of the inclined roof part 40. Consequently, even if a rising part 9 is provided in the vicinity of eaves tip 42B of the inclined roof part 40, a peripheral fringe part of the horizontal roof part 30 becomes a blind to hide the rising part 9 by the peripheral fringe part of the horizontal roof part 30 so as to emphasize the sense of integration of the horizontal roof part 30 and the inclined roof part 40 so that a person who sees this roof structure can recognize sufficiently that it has the appearance different from that of a conventional building in which an external wall positioned just below eaves soffit the conventional roof retreats onto an indoor side, thereby increasing the variation of the appearance of the building.</p> |
