<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-exciting operation type electromagnetic brake capable of accurately readjusting a clearance between a friction plate and an armature when exciting even with a worn friction plate. SOLUTION: A rotating part 20 of a non-exciting operation type electromagnetic brake 10 has a hub 22 fitted on a rotary shaft 2 and a plate main body 22 spline-connected to the hub so as to be integrally rotated with the hub. A fixed part 30 has a magnetic pole body 31 arranged at one side of the plate main body 22 and an armature 32 slidably fitted to the magnetic pole body 31 in the thrust direction. A friction plate 22a is installed in the plate main body 22. A flange part 21b of the hub 21 is formed with plural screw holes 21d along the thrust direction, and a plate adjusting screw 23 is screwed to each hole. The plate adjusting screw 23 abuts on the plate main body 22 at a tip thereof, and the plate main body 22 can be moved toward the armature 32 by fastening the plate adjusting screw 23.</p> |
