<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacitance type object detecting device and a defrosting device for a cooler with a simple structure hard to be influenced by an external noise and capable of providing stable characteristics. SOLUTION: Shield electrodes 11, 12 include faces opposing to each other. A detecting electrode 2 is placed between the faces of the shield electrodes 11, 12 opposing to each other at intervals from the faces, and the intervals forms an object detecting region. A detecting circuit 3 detects an object by electrostatic capacity CA, CB between the shield electrodes 11, 12 and the detecting electrode 2.</p> |
