PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil pump arranging structure for an engine capable of disposing an oil pump by reducing the center of gravity to the utmost, lowering the height of the entire engine, and avoiding an impeller shaft disposed around a boat body. SOLUTION: In the oil pump arranging structure for the engine for a small planing boat wherein lubricating oil in a crankcase for composing the engine is recovered in an oil tank, the lubricating oil in the oil tank is supplied to the engine, driving force of the crankshaft 12 of the engine is transmitted to an impeller shaft 13 of a jet propeller, and which glides on the water; a pump driving shaft 71 of the oil pump is positioned between the impeller shaft 13 and an engine side recovery passage 82 of the lubricating oil formed on a crankcase lowest part in the vertical direction at an aft part of the engine, and is offset in the width direction of the boat body to the impeller shaft 13. |
