PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle lighting fixture capable of enhancing the visibility of a road surface ahead of the vehicle when the vehicle is driven in rain or the like, without causing substantial glare to the drivers of oncoming vehicles. SOLUTION: A lane mark illuminating lamp 10 is provided as a vehicle lighting fixture forming a pair of lane mark illuminating light distribution patterns P (LM2) and P (LM1) in areas on the right and left sides of a front nearby area N on a road surface ahead of the vehicle. Both lane mark illuminating light distribution patterns P (LM2) and P (LM1) are formed to extend radially (in the form of a truncated chevron) and downwardly from an H-V point to the right and left. Thus, the lane marks LMs1 and LMc of the lane on which the vehicle travels are brightly illuminated without illuminating the front nearby area N where there is the fear of normal reflected light causing substantial glare to the drivers of oncoming vehicles.
