PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of improving energy efficiency. SOLUTION: An air conditioner 11 is adapted such that an inlet of an apparatus body 40 is partitioned with a partition plate 5 into a fresh air intake section 52 on the side of a fresh air inlet 42 and a return air intake section 54 on the side of a return air hole 44. A dehumidifying apparatus 56 is disposed in the return air intake section 54. As a result, the return air and the fresh air are taken into the apparatus body 40 independently, and only the return air is humidified.
